Why you should be using handmade soap!

Posted by Amanda Leitera on

Did you know that commercial bar soap can actually make your skin dry and itchy due to strong detergents? The typical ingredients used in common, store bought soap is Sodium Tallowate, Sodium Palmate, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Aqua (Water, Eau), Talc, Coconut Acid, Palm Acid, Palm Kernel Acid, Tallow Acid, Glycerin, Fragrances, Dyes.

What exactly makes common bar soap not vegan friendly? It's the Sodium Tallowate. What is it? It is animal fat and salt.

What makes our soap different?

Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, White Kaolin Clay, Essential Oils

We use natural ingredients that are plant-derived and cruelty-free. We harness the power of essential oils in our bath, body, and skincare for those with the most sensitive skin. We use organic ingredients when possible, and we support small businesses to provide our ingredients, additives, and bases.

Made in Las Vegas with love!

I am a proud Las Vegas local, married to an incredible husband and my personal chef, with 3 kids + an English Bulldog named Champion. I stepped away from my life as a hairstylist + esthetician to make plant based soap + skincare made with performance-driven ingredients and pure essential oils!

I was tired of shopping around for clean bath and skincare for my family that didn't always deliver. I have an extensive background in esthetics and the beauty industry, so I decided that if I wanted it done right, I should do it myself!

We use vegan, plant-based, small batch, performance-driven products that make you love your skin! Your skin is unique and inherently beautiful and healthy. We want you to see that by keeping your skin healthy and cared for, you will see it's natural beauty.

We want to make less waste in this world! We stamp our handmade artisan vegan soaps rather than using any wrapping. We use paper bags to hold each bar and we use 100% paper boxes and cards.
